We have for sale atruly stunning sterling silver Blue John bracelet. It has been beautifully hand crafted in Sheffield, England. Iy features 14 small oblong links each set with its own unique piece of Blue John. Each link measures 9.2mm x 6.1mm x 3.6mm. It fastens with a small lever clasp.
Blue John stone is a rare, semi preciousmineral, fluorite, found at only one location in the world. This is at Treak Cliff Cavern which is at the western end of Hope Valley near Castleton in Derbyshire, England. The name Blue John derives from the French Bleu Jaune, meaning Blue John. It was first discovered by miners exploring the cavern for lead.
