We have for sale a beautiful sterling silver Blue John double sided medium sized pendant. It has been beautifully hand crafted in Sheffield, England. In a pear shape design, this pendant is set with a unique piece of Derbyshire Blue John, and snakeskin agate. A 20" sterling silver curb chain is supplied as standard, other lengths are available.
Blue John stone is a rare, semiprecious mineral, fluorite, found at only one location in the world. This is at Treak Cliff Cavern which is at the western end of Hope Valley near Castleton in Derbyshire, England. The name Blue John derives from the French Bleu Jaune, meaning Blue John. It was first discovered by miners exploring the cavern for lead.
Snakeskin agate is a stone found in Oregon, USA and just outside of Rome, Italy. Snakeskin agate is a spiritual stone, use to balance, heal and energise emotional wellbeing, and is useful for emotional trauma.
