Blue John stone is a rare, semi-precious mineral fluorite, found only at one location in the world, Treak Cliff Cavern, at the Western end of Hope Valley, near Castleton in Derbyshire, England. The name Blue John derives from the French Bleu Jaune, meaning Blue John. It was first discovered by miners exploring the cavern for lead.
Labradorite is a member of the Feldspar family. It is a stone of transformation and is a useful companion during periods of change, imparting strength and perseverance. It balances and protects the aura, raises consciousness and grounds spiritual energies. Excellent for strengthening intuitionand promoting psychic abilities.
Comes packaged in a luxury Hollins and Hollinshead pendant box.
