Derbyshire Blue John and Kalahari Stone Silver Spinning Pendant and Chain

We have for sale a beautiful sterling silver Blue John double sided medium pendant. It has been beautifully hand crafted in Sheffield, England. In an oval design, this unique pendant spins, it has a Celtic style bail, and the pendant is set with a unique piece of Derbyshire Blue John on the front and Kalahari Stone at the back. A 20" sterling silver curb chain is supplied as standard, other lengths are available. This pendant has the Sheffield Assay Office hallmark, date letter X, and the Commemorative Platinum Jubilee hallmark.

Blue John stone is a rare, semiprecious mineral, fluorite, found at only one location in the world. This is at Treak Cliff Cavern which is at the western end of Hope Valley near Castleton in Derbyshire, England. The name Blue John derives from the French Bleu Jaune, meaning Blue John. It was first discovered by miners exploring the cavern for lead.

Kalahari is a tumble stone and can be found in Africa and Brazil. The Kalahari Stone is known for its brown and tan colouring, and for its spiritual and healing properties. This stone is considered to be grounding, and connecting with the earths energies, as well as helping with creativity, confidence, and healing.
