In an oval shape, with Celtic detail, and set with a beautiful unique piece of Derbyshire Blue John on one side and Jade on the other.This pendant is available on its own or with an 18" or 20" strong 9ct yellow gold curb chain. Blue John stone is a rare, semiprecious mineral, fluorite, found at only one location in the world. This is at Treak Cliff Cavern which is at the western end of Hope Valley near Castleton in Derbyshire, England. The name Blue John derives from the French Bleu Jaune, meaning Blue John. It was first discovered by miners exploring the cavern for lead.

Jade is found in metamorphic rocks in many parts of the world, including Australia, Japan, and California. Jade is believed to have many healing properties, its thought to help with negative thought patterns, self-sufficiency, and clearing the mind and heart, and to promote feelings of love, compassion, and self-love.Jade has been used by humans for at least 10,000 years and is an integral part of Chinese life and culture.
